Safety Drop Stop “SDS” Pneumatic Balancer
The Knight SDS (Safety Drop Stop) Pneumatic Balancer is designed to prevent load drops if the primary chain fails, enhancing operator safety.
It provides a “float” function for hands-free, precise positioning, with faster lifting/lowering speeds than traditional hoists and smooth feathering control via ergonomic, color-coded pendant levers.
The balancer uses a specially treated Grade 80 chain, offering up to 300% longer life than standard chains.

Single Cable/Chain Pneumatic Balancer
The KBA (cable) and KBC (chain) Single Pneumatic Balancers are designed for applications requiring a “float” condition, enabling hands-free and precise load positioning. They offer faster, smoother operation than hoists with fine feathering control and ergonomic, color-coded pendant levers.
For sizing, use 80% of rated capacity to account for air supply fluctuations. Balancers are rated at 100 psi (6.8 bar).

Reeved Cable/Chain Pneumatic Balancer Series
The Reeved Pneumatic Balancer Series is designed for loads above 450 lbs (204 kg), using reeving to increase mechanical advantage while reducing stroke length to half that of a standard balancer. It comes standard with a swiveling shackle on a pulley.
For sizing, use 80% of rated capacity to account for air supply fluctuations. Balancers are rated at 100 psi (6.8 bar).

Knight Aluminum Rail Series

Enclosed Track Aluminum Rail Series
Knight’s RAD4110, RAD6110, and RAD7510 Aluminum Rail Series feature an enclosed track design made from lightweight, high-strength aluminum, enabling easy installation and reduced support requirements. The system ensures smooth operation with low rolling resistance using nylon trolley wheels and supports both underhung and cantilevered loads.
For loads above 3000 lbs, the RAD7510 can be reinforced with 6″ or 8″ backer rails to increase capacity.
For lighter applications, the TR2000 Series supports up to 550 lbs/ft (249.5 kg/m) and allows integration of festoon systems and plant utilities, making it suitable for workstations, light tools, and support equipment.

Curved Aluminum Rail Series
Knight’s RAD4112, RAD6112 and RAD7512 Curved Aluminum Rail Series has a curved radius enclosed track that is extruded from a lightweight, high-strength aluminum alloy. This rail design allows loads to travel around corners and stationary objects. The Curved Aluminum Rail Series is the ideal solution for direct loads on single curved sections. This series, combined with nylon trolley wheels, provides the lowest rolling resistance in the industry.

ERail Electrified Rail Systems
Electrified Rail Systems provide an integrated power supply solution for Knight Servo Systems, VFD tractors, power tools, and other devices. The ERAD Series features a fully enclosed conductor rail (ERail) mounted on ERAD4000, ERAD6000, or ERAD7000 aluminum rails, eliminating the need for festooning. The standard ERail includes four poles with 60 amp capacity at 240/480V, enabling multiple systems to run on a single rail.
The system can also be side-mounted, reducing overall height and allowing the use of standard rails. This setup can be retrofitted onto existing systems, removing festooning and improving flexibility.

Knight’s KSHS Safety Drop Stop Servo Hoist series (Patent No. 10,099,904) is a next-generation lifting solution designed for maximum safety, precision, and ease of use. It features a patented Safety Drop Stop (SDS) system with redundant chains, one for load carrying and one for safety, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
The hoist incorporates Intelligent Assist Device (IAD) technology, enabling precise load positioning and smooth vertical (Z-axis) control. It delivers the same intelligent lifting capabilities and programmable functionality while remaining competitive with lower-end Intelligent Assist Devices, without compromising on safety.
The hoist enables smooth, precise load handling with intuitive operation, and includes built-in graphite lubrication for efficient chain performance. It requires the KLCA1030 Inline Control Handle for operation, providing a practical and economical option for a wide range of applications.

SDS Speed Hoist
Knight’s SDS Speed Hoist is a high-speed electric hoist featuring the patented Safety Drop Stop (SDS) dual-chain system for enhanced safety. It uses a simple analog handle with an UP/DOWN thumb switch, enabling intuitive operation with smooth control of speed, acceleration, and positioning.
An Ethernet port allows customization through Knight Servo Studio software, including height limits and speed settings. The hoist also includes built-in graphite lubrication for efficient performance. With capacities up to 1,000 lbs (453 kg) and speeds up to 50 inches per second (unloaded), it offers a safe and efficient lifting solution.

Knight’s Low Profile Jib Cranes are designed for workstations with limited ceiling height, offering a large tool coverage area through a single rotating rail on a floor-mounted pedestal. They can also be integrated with the Air Glide Hose Management system for improved cable and hose handling.
The MJBA2050 is suited for light-duty applications, while the MJBA2300 and MJBA2600 models are medium-duty options featuring adjustable hard stops and rail pitch adjustment. For heavier load requirements, the MJBA2700 provides a robust heavy-duty solution.

Knight’s Torque Tubes series is designed to reduce operator fatigue by absorbing tool torque while balancing tool weight. The latest design is more robust and precise, featuring a linear bearing spline for smooth travel with zero rotational movement and an air cylinder for true zero-gravity balancing with single-point control.
The ATA2800AR and ATA2900AR models can be configured as swivel tool holders using a 360° rotating clamp or as fixed holders with adjustable clamps. The ATA4500 is built for high-torque applications and typically requires custom tool holders.
